Learning Objectives: 1) Recognize the signs of an affair and how it is affecting the workplace.
2) Recognize the need to develop company policies about how to address affairs in the workplace.
3) Consider options about how best to address specific situations. - About the Presenter: -
Emily M. Brown, MSW, LCSW is Director of the Key Bridge Therapy & Mediation Center in Arlington, VA. In her professional practice, she works with couples, individuals, and families to address the underlying issues in marriage, divorce, and betrayal. She also offers workshops for mental health professionals throughout the U.S. and internationally in Europe, Canada, and Singapore on treating the issues associated with extramarital affairs and other relationship issues. She is the author of Patterns of Infidelity and Their Treatment (now in its second edition) and numerous articles on affairs, divorce, and divorce mediation. Her book, Affairs: A Guide to Working Through the Repercussions of Infidelity, is a personal guide for those who are dealing with the painful fallout of an affair and for those who care about them. Attendees of this session will receive 2 PDH credits; attendance is free to Potomac Chapter members and students; non-member fee $10
