About the Presenter:

Susan Mudd, MS, CNS, is a board certified, licensed nutritionist practicing in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  She holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Bridgeport, CT. She consults with clients on a wide variety of clinical conditions such as high cholesterol, hypertension and diabetes. Her practice, Body Tech, includes an innovative approach to weight loss as well as food sensitivity and metabolic testing.

Besides maintaining a busy practice, she writes a monthly column for the Gazette, develops courses for Clayton College of Natural Health, runs weight loss groups and speaks to various companies about nutrition. Susan is also licensed in Shapedown, a child and adolescent obesity counseling program utilizing long term weight management techniques.

Goals & Objectives:

Employee Assistance professionals will learn to assist their clients in the following areas:

1. Maintaining control during the holidays

2. Behavior Modification techniques to avoid putting on access weight

3. Techniques in tricking the body into thinking it’s not hungry
